ABOUT: THE COMIC

Solomon Azua was recently nominated for the 2011 Glyph Awards! Woo-hoo!

Solomon Azua is the galaxy's most reckless adventurer and thief. He retrieves the gems of the universe from the jaws of death. If angels fear to tread there, Solomon's already gone and come back. So is his reputation deserved? Not if you buy the talk. Word is Solomon was born a "5 under 5", which is just a fancy way of saying a good sign. Rumor has it Solomon's good luck is all he really has to get him out of his various scrapes, and no one is about to let him forget it. Sure, he's known all over the galaxy, but no one can seem to give him credit for being anything but very lucky.

Unfortunately, his next adventure will require a bit more than just some good fortune. Sol's gotten a lead on the remains of the Piston, the biggest, baddest alien warship ever to go missing in battle. If he can put his greedy paws on the Piston he'll have a prize so massive that no one can say he rides on luck ever again. Of course, there's a catch. The Piston lies in the booby-trap laden Sol system, home of a decimated and forgotten Earth. If that weren't enough, there's a veritable fleet of ships lead by the insect pirate Capt. Calico and the mysterious alien cephalapod Vehno between Sol and his prize.

Solomon Azua is fist fights, big spaceships, alien races and high adventure.

ABOUT: SPACE-GUN STUDIOS

Space-Gun is a graphic arts and creative studio based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Studio members consist of Jake Ekiss, Vinh-Luan Luu, Paul Milligan, and Matthew Warlick. Initially, Space-Gun was a weekly humor web comic that ran for over three years. Since that time the creative force behind Space-Gun has grown and its focus has shifted. Now more than a weekly pit stop for funny comic strips, it has become a house of ideas.

While Space-Gun’s primary goal is the creation of new creative properties, it also provides artistic services on a contract basis. All told the studio boasts more than ten years of cumulative experience in multimedia/print design, illustration, copywriting, and sequential storytelling (comics). Space-Gun aims to be a haven of cool art, wicked ideas, slick design and phat rhymes.
